Editorial and AI-use policy
How StockCar Insights posts and compare pages are researched, written, and corrected, and where AI is involved.
Who writes StockCar Insights
StockCar Insights is published by Matt Senter, the independent developer who builds StockCar. There is no newsroom and no outside contributors. Weekly market roundups, event posts, ticker pages, and compare pages all go out under his name, and he is responsible for what they say.
How posts are made, including AI
Posts are researched and drafted with the help of AI (Anthropic's Claude), working from public market data, company filings, and news available on the day a post is written. Market posts are written against what actually happened that day rather than planned in advance, and their figures are pulled at the time of writing instead of from memory. Posts about the StockCar app are checked against the live app and this site, and they do not describe features that have not shipped.
The AI cohosts inside the StockCar app are a separate thing: they are AI voices that narrate your own episodes.
Sources and numbers
Where a post depends on a primary document, such as an SEC filing, an earnings release, or a company announcement, it links to it. The SPCX lockup calendar, for example, takes every date and share count from SpaceX's prospectus and earnings filings and lists them in a Sources section. Index levels and prices are closing figures unless a post says otherwise. Some older posts name their sources without linking them.
StockCar and the apps we compare
StockCar is our own app, and the compare pages include it alongside the apps they review. Each compare page says when it was last reviewed and how apps were evaluated. Treat StockCar's place on those lists accordingly, and check competitor prices and features on their own sites before you decide.
Not investment advice
Everything on this site is for information and education. It is not financial, investment, tax, or trading advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or asset. Markets move after a post is published, so check a post's date before relying on it.
Corrections
If something is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed. Post in the StockCar Discord or email legal@stockcar.app. Corrections to a post's facts update the post and its "updated" date.
